Thank you for your interest in volunteering for A Toast to the Triangle 2016!
A Toast to the Triangle™ is a Triangle wide culinary competition and premier fundraising event benefiting the Tammy Lynn Center. On Sunday, March 6th, restaurants, beverage purveyors, in-kind donors, auction and raffle donors, and financial sponsors will team up for an exciting evening of food, drinks, and friendly competition.
Volunteers are a critical part of the success of A Toast to the Triangle. They provide assistance with set-up, logistics, and operations for the different elements of the Toast event.
Volunteer shifts are available on Saturday, March 5th from 8am-1pm and during the event on Sunday March 6th from 4:45pm-10pm.
Saturday Volunteers will be helping with loadout and setup of the event site.
Sunday Volunteers will be assigned to roles such as:
Restaurants/Beverages - Guide restaurants and beverage vendors into correct loading bays, help them check-in, and guide them to the appropriate table location. Assist with electricity, linen, and tableware needs.
Competition Assistance - Bring plated food from restaurants to the judges area. Track samples and judges' votes. Collect and tally the People's Choice Award votes.
Event Entry and Auction Check-Out - Collect guest tickets and assist with wristbands. Assist with Will Call, Ticket Purchase, VIPs and Early Admission. Pass out event guides. Process auction purchases and take payments.
Silent Auction - Monitor silent auction displays. Answer questions and provide guidance as necessary.
Raffle Table and Information Table - Help to sell raffle tickets at their respective booths. Share information about Tammy Lynn Center.
