A Toast to the Triangle™ Breaks Records

The 28th Annual A Toast to the TriangleTM held on Sunday, March 9th, was a tremendous success as we welcomed 1000 attendees to enjoy cuisine from across the Triangle!  Together, more than $215,000 was raised to benefit Tammy Lynn Memorial Foundation.  If you missed it this year, be sure to save the date for next year's Toast - March 8th, 2015.

“For almost three decades Triangle residents have been coming together to support our cause,” says President and CEO Holly Richard.  “It is this continued community support that has made the event successful and helped us expand our services.”

Thank you to ABC11-WTVD who was the presenting media sponsor for this illustrious event with their very own Steve Daniels serving as Honorary Toast Chair.  

In addition to sampling mouth watering food and beverage, guests also had opportunities to bid on nearly 100 different auction items and enter raffles for great prizes including a necklace from Diamonds Direct and a chance to win a 2014 Mustang donated by Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

In 1986, the first A Toast to the Triangle™ was held to raise money to help build residential facilities at Tammy Lynn Center.  Twenty-eight years later, this Triangle-wide extravaganza combines a celebration of culinary talents with a worthwhile cause – helping fund Tammy Lynn Memorial Foundation, which supports programs and services of Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities.

Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities has been fortunate to have the support of the community, loyal supporters and dedicated volunteers for 45 years. The success of the organization has been and will always be directly linked to all the people who come out to support this great mission!
